About

Like a detective, Michael Petrina uncovers the systematic discrepancies in peoples’ bodies that cause the biomechanical dysfunctions resulting in injury; pain. Michael uses his unique manual therapy system to work with patients to avert injury or treat patients to resolve injury and pain. He developed his technique through an intensive 10-year mentorship with distinguished doctor Keith Pyne D.C., Chairman of the Medical Board from 2015 — 2019 for the 2019 World Series winners, The Washington Nationals. Michael allows clients to live pain free at their full potential.

Proper understanding of biomechanics – the science of movement of a living body – impacts sports performance, daily life, injury prevention, and pain management. During a session, Michael will identify and treat improper movement patterns and lack of neuromuscular control in a patient’s body that contribute to physical concerns. He then prescribes an appropriate home exercise protocol for post-treatment.

Unlike traditional physical therapy, a patient can feel significant improvement as soon as the first session. Moreover, treatment involves few recurring appointments.
